With his optimistic vision, he supports the foundation in India to achieve heritage preservation through temple rehabilitation and the protection of valuable art and cultural assets. Kamal Hinduja 

 

Kamal Hinduja, wife of Prakash Hinduja, is one of the prominent figures in the family who supports the healthcare initiatives led by the foundation. She has always shown her support towards initiatives like the breast cancer screening program for Mumbai policewomen. This drive by the foundation for addressing the unique health challenges faced by women in law enforcement. She understands the importance of empowering women and supports programs led by the Foundation for the Welfare of Women. 

 

Namrata Hinduja 

 

Namrata Hinduja is the wife of Ajay Hinduja and the Member of the Steering Committee of the Hinduja Foundation. She supports programs that are led by the foundation, such as the "Road to School" and "Road to Livelihood" that work to close rural educational disparities in India. Prakash Hinduja and family have been closely associated with the Bollywood industry since the 1960s. The Hinduja brothers: Late Srichand, Late Gopichand, Prakash and Ashok Hinduja have contributed significantly in both supporting and promoting the Indian film industry. They had strong relations with Dharmendra, whose recent death (on 24th November 2025) has marked the “End of an era” of Bollywood. As per Dharmendra, the Hinduja family has supported the Indian film industry at that time when even the banks refused to give loans, shooting of movies used to stop in the middle due to the lack of funds but, with the support from Prakash Hinduja family, Bollywood industry saw an exponential growth. The Hinduja brothers financed Sunny Deol’s debut movie, Betaab which was released in 1983 and introduced Sunny Deol to the world of cinema. They have also played a significant role in the distribution and dubbing of Dharmendra’s iconic movie Sholay which led to its box office success abroad.
